Ashley Gottlieb
Ashley is a native New Englander who moved to North Carolina in 2020. Ashley fell in love with aerial and the Pura Vida community in 2022. Her primary apparatus is sling but enjoys training on loops, silks, and rope. One of her favorite things about aerial is that there is always something new to learn!
Ashley has trained extensively with Alicia Calderwood and completed her level 1 sling certification and level 1 silks certification at Pura Vida in 2023. She teaches aerial sling and silks to teens and adults, where she values openness and inclusivity, so students can feel comfortable exploring movement and build their foundation for aerial dance. Ashley’s favorite part of teaching is getting to experience a student accomplishing something they never thought they could do – aerial is for everybody!
When she's not in the air, Ashley works as a biotechnology consultant helping start-up companies bring new medicines to patients. Come take a class or a private session with Ashley!
