Cambria Sinkez
Cambria's movement pedagogy began in 2017 as a professional ski instructor in the mountains of Utah and climbing teacher at Weber State's rock wall. There she honed the art of teaching challenging and somewhat dangerous skills to absolute beginners.
Holly Ann Jarvis trained Cambria primarily on aerial silks with some sling influence. Two semesters of training set Cambria up for success to complete her Level 1 Aerial Silks Level Teacher Training with Rebekeh Leach's company Born to Fly in 2021. Cambria has continued her development and training since then with workshops taught by Amber Monson, Waverly Jones and Sarah Dawn. Cambria also has enjoyed being a student as much as an instructor by participating in classes to continue to build her aerial repertoire.
What to expect when taking an aerial class with Cambria. She has two goals for her aerial students. They're simply: make progress and have fun. Everyone is on their own individualized aerial journey and the tiniest of gains should be accompanied by CELEBRATION. She will be your biggest cheerleader. Aerial is the most fun workout you've ever had, so that goal is pretty easy to achieve. Classes will always be accompanied by an appropriately fun playlist and welcoming environment.
Other background: Cambria earned a bachelor's degree from Weber State University in Outdoor Recreation Administration. She loves skiing, trying extreme sports with her husband and planning group adventures. Cambria also owns her own company, Unconventional Candy LLC, which sells freeze dried candy, fruit and more.
Cambria is so excited to be a part of YOUR aerial journey. She teaches beginner-level 3 sling and beginner-level 2 silks for all ages. Book a class or private lesson with Cambria. You won’t regret it!
